Youngs Sportsplex
Welland, Ontario
About the project
We proudly completed the $15.8 million dollar “Youngs Sportsplex” in Welland, Ontario. Promising to be one of the most successful and utilized sports and recreation complexes in the province; projected to attract well over 1 million visitors annually!
Comprised of 120K sq. ft. of multi-use indoor recreation space, the complex is now home to a FIFA soccer field, four US Open rubber-coated indoor tennis courts which are available for Pickleball and the field is suitable for numerous additional indoor sports such as soccer, winter golf driving range, field lacrosse and frisbee. In addition, there is an outdoor component, which includes both artificial and natural grass FIFA soccer fields.
We have spent time investigating and applying new strategies and technologies to the needs of our clients. In Welland, the solar roof is garnering income simply by selling the power to the grid and furthermore, retail development opportunities are currently underway.
